You know how your really sure your going to pass a test with flying colors, then get your score back and its no where near flying colors? It's more like a pale grey. A depressing grey. You just want to stick your head in the dirt, or pull the covers over your head and just lay there for days.
But hey, at least getting some of the answers right is better than getting them all WRONG! That's how I'm going to look at it. I can't start feeling depressed about it. It's one test. The best thing to do, the better thing to do is to just study harder. Read just about everything you can on the subject your testing on. Which reminds me. I need to check out a book for dummies on intro to business. And Business Statistics. And my professor is right. Theres more tests, and more assignments that can help me with grades. Now I'm off for the rest of the discussion.
Adieu
For some reason whenever I think of that word, I think of Tuxedo Mask. And yes, I am a moonie. :D
About Me
- Cassandra1190
- Well, this is me, Cassandra. I've loved the sims for years now-ever since my friend let me start a family on her game. I am also a bookaholic. I love books! And I love to write. I've been writing since I was eleven years old. Almost finished writing my own novel-but my grandmother never returned my story.

My drama
Will Harry Potter win? Or will he die, and the Dark Lord rule the wizarding world? Rereading for the 20th time.
Will Chastity land Dr. Perfect with her feminime wiles?
Will Sylvester woe Theodora into becoming his bride?
Unwanted Pet Names
Have any of you ever been given an unwanted pet name? I have. And that name is Bella. In reference to Twilight. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy reading twilight. I have all the books (except for Bree), and I see all the movies with my friends on the day it hits theaters. It's tradition. Which will end when theres no more Twilight movies being released. Maybe not. Who knows. But I don't see myself being Bella. I don't have a thing for a vampire, and my boyfriend certainly is no vampire. I don't have a crescent shaped scar on my wrist. I am clumsy though lol. I'm not depressing. I'm a book-aholic. I don't go into a huge depression and then have a death wish when my boyfriend dumps me. I don't want to be Bella. I want to be me, Cassandra. That's my name.
I can't remember when my friend started calling me Bella. I'm going to call him Billy. Maybe he thinks hes Edward. Lol, hes no Edward. Hes not even a Jacob. I told Billy the first time not to call me Bella, but he didn't listen. He decided that that was our pet name. I guess "Don't call me Bella, I'm Cassandra!" is actually saying "Oh yes, call me Bella. I love being Bella!" I mean, he does think hes a vampire/vampire slayer. And today, when I said I was going to pretend that he called me by my real name, he got very angry, told me to f*** off, and that he was sick of my drama(another word for b.s., but this is going to be a clean blog). Which, compared to him, I'm dramaless. Who has been engaged more times than me, and two others combined? Billy. Who says that he has been invited to attend Yale for his excellent grades but yet I went to school with him and remember the grades he got? Billy.
And now he wants me to stay out of his life. Fine with me, I rarely talk to him anyway.

Starting Monday....
Monday. Eek There's nothing more nerve wracking for me than starting classes. Especially College Classes. It's my second year, one would think that I'd be used to it. No, I just know that I'm going to break down and cry. Hopefully no one will notice this time.
Normally I hate math. But In my first year of college I had two awesome math professors. I would always stay after class and get help from them. One even let me use the time in his other class so I could get more help. It can take awhile for me to learn some of the problems. Thankfully, I have the same teacher again. Yippee!
In High school I decided I was going to be a nurse. And since my school was a health school, I was able to get into a program. I loved it. When I got into College and took a biology class, I failed. I hate biology. I don't like getting into the brain (Eww!). It was fun looking at the skeletons though (the one next to my table was real). But it wasn't for me. I also hated getting up at 7 in the morning. I'm definitely not a morning person. I'm almost like Jackson from the Gilmore Girls in the morning.
Which reminds me, I need to get a tape recorder. I sometimes forget what the professor says when I'm taking notes.
So anyway, just because, here's a few survival
- Go to class. Don't blow it off. If you do, you will regret it.
- Take notes. Even if you think you know it, take notes. And get a tape recorder, cause you wont be able to get everything the professor says.
- Ask questions. Most likely there is another student with the same question.
- Find a good place to study. Minimize the distractions. If music helps you study, turn it on to something soothing.
- Take advantage of the tutoring lab, and don't stay up all night.
- Turn assignments in on time.
- And if your really stressed out, write in a journal. Keep it private though, or at least dont use real names of whose stressing you out etc.
- And make friends. College friends can last a lifetime and can help you out a lot.
